All undergraduate applications should be made through our online admissions portal. You should upload all of your supporting documents to the portal. All postgraduate applications should be made directly to Zhejiang University. Our dedicated admissions team will be available to guide you through the process. If you require your application materials in an alternative format, please contact: zje_apply@zju.edu.cn.

All students on our undergraduate programme will be eligible for two degrees: A Bachelor of Science (Hons) from The University of Edinburgh and a Bachelor of Science from Zhejiang University. Your certificate will be exactly the same as students who have studied at each University.

If you choose to study our PhD programme, you will have the opportunity to gain two PhDs - one from The University of Edinburgh and one from Zhejiang University.

Our programmes are designed to be studied at our new International Campus in Haining, China and you will complete all four years of study here. However, there will be opportunities to complete some laboratory experiences abroad, which may include the UK. You will be able to apply for these opportunities during your studies.

Our fees are inclusive of most teaching materials, lectures and practical lab work. However, you may be required to purchase additional reading and study materials. You will also be required to pay for your accommodation costs unless you have a scholarship.

Yes. Our experienced admissions team are happy to offer advice to prospective students and to their parents or guardians. The advice we give is free and confidential and there is no obligation to enrol.

Yes. All of our students are registered students of The University of Edinburgh and are therefore entitled to a UK student card. Our administration team will provide you with details for applying for this once you accept your place on the programme.
