We investigate signaling molecules within adult stem cells (intestinal、muscle and mesenchymal stem cells) regulate their fundamental properties in both physiological and pathological conditions. Our research incorporates genetically modified mice, primary cells and 3D organoids as well as biopsies from human patients.
We are seeking highly motivated candidates with a PhD degree in biomedical research or life science. Previous experience in transgenic animal, bioinformatics analysis and cancer biology is an advantage. Appointment is initially for 2 years with a possible two-year extension. Postdoctoral fellows will receive an annual salary up to $45,000 (300,000 RMB) plus full social and medical benefits. Zhejiang University also provide housing arrangements and children’s education benefits for postdoctoral scientists.
