Zhejiang University is the first university in China to establish Biomedical Sciences (at the same time as the University of Hong Kong). Since its establishment in 2012, Zhejiang University has focused on small-class elite teaching. In 2016, Zhejiang University and University of Edinburgh was established to carry out dual undergraduate degree programme. By June 2023, there are 319 students graduating from ZJE and Biomedical Sciences, with a further study rate of about 90%, studying in well-known institutions at home and abroad.
