北京时间11月1日，2025年国际基因工程机器大赛（iGEM）在法国巴黎落下帷幕。来自浙江大学爱丁堡大学联合学院（ZJE）组建的本科生团队——IZJU-China代表队从全球412支顶尖队伍中脱颖而出，不仅勇夺本科生赛道全球金奖，更荣膺全球本科生组总排名第三的佳绩，刷新了团队历史最好成绩。团队基于对抗菌素耐药性问题的深刻洞察，前瞻性地开发了整合基因编辑系统与DNA折纸结构的FoCas平台，凭借该设计一举包揽了“传染病赛道-赛道最佳”和“最佳元件集合奖”两项特别大奖，并获得了“最佳建模奖提名”。https://competition.igem.org/results/2025
On November 1 (Beijing Time), the 2025 iGEM Competition concluded in Paris, France. The IZJU-China team, consisting of undergraduate students from ZJE, stood out among 412 global teams, winning a Gold Medal and the 2nd Runner-up title in the undergraduate track—the best performance ever achieved by a ZJE team. With deep insight into the challenge of antimicrobial resistance, the team pioneered the FoCas platform, which integrates a gene editing system and DNA origami structures. Their project earned them two Award & Special Prizes: Best Infectious Diseases Project and Best Part Collection, along with a Nomination for Best Model.
