On 6th March, Dr Catherine Elliott who is the College Register from College of Medicine and Veterinary of The University of Edinburgh（UoE）held a lecture named Organization and delegated authority of UoE for ZJU-UoE staff and Staff from Zhejiang University (ZJU) International Campus.
Using UoE and College of Medicine and Veterinary of UoE as examples, Dr Catherine Elliott introduced the organizational structure of UK universities, the allocation of functions and powers of various departments, and the operating mechanism of the financial budget. She then had an in-depth exchange with staff about the similarities and differences between ZJU and UoE in the management system and how to optimize the administrative management, and also answered the questions from the ZJU- UoE staff.
After the lecture, participants said they benefited greatly from the lecture and discussion, and the opportunity to have an in-depth and intuitive understanding of their partner university was very valuable.
