On the afternoon of May 7th, Director Education of British Council Andrew Zerza, Global Head of Consultancy and Research of British Council Matt Durnin, Head of Higher Education of British Council China Cathy He visited Zhejiang University-University of Edinburgh Institute (ZJE). Executive Dean of ZJE Sue Welburn, lecturer of The University of Edinburgh Melanie Stefan and ZJE administration office staff warmly welcomed the guests from British Council.
Prof. Welburn introduced basic information of ZJE, the origin and current situation of the cooperation between University of Edinburgh and Zhejiang University. She also illustrated the development, planning and prospects of the international campus of Zhejiang University. Dr. Melanie Stefan shared the living experience on the international campus. She also introduced the international student policy and graduation plan of students to the guests. Andrew Zerza expressed the willingness of British Council to help ZJE find more opportunities for Sino-British cooperation and promote the further development of ZJE.
After the meeting, the guests had a campus tour, and praised the excellent facilities and beautiful environment.
