Prof. Kang is Warner-Lambert/Parke-Davis Professor of Molecular Biology in Princeton University and Researcher of Rutgers Cancer Institute of New Jersey. He is also in charge of admission of Chinese students into Princeton University. He was awarded the Irvington Institute Postdoctoral Fellowship and joined Memorial Sloan-Kettering Cancer Center after obtaining his doctor’s degree in 2000. He engaged in postdoctoral research work in Joan Massague’s (a member of National Academy of Sciences of the United States) laboratory to explore the molecular mechanism of malignant proliferation of cancer cells through cells molecular biology and gene chip technology methods and made grounding breaking research results. In September 2004, he was employed as Assistant Professor at Princeton University. Then he was promoted as Tenured Associate Professor in 2010 and Endowed Chair Professor in 2012.
