The inaugural meeting of the ZJE Teaching Network took place on Friday 13th September. The purpose of the network is to share, discuss and promote best practice and innovative approaches in all teaching and learning activities at the Institute. The meeting featured a workshop on assessment, marking and feedback led by Dr Michael Daw.
Dr John Menzies, Director of Undergraduate Programmes, said “We have fantastic team of teachers at the Institute with a diverse set of skills and experiences. The network provides a forum for everyone involved in teaching, including postdocs and PhD students, to share their ideas and develop innovative ways to design and deliver our teaching”.
Prof Sue Welburn, Executive Dean, said “Teaching and learning are key activities at the Institute. The activities of this network will create connections between staff and strengthen our community of teachers and learners”.
