Prof. Baowei Jiao received his Ph.D. degree in the Chinese University of Hong Kong and finished postdoctoral training in the University of Massachusetts Medical School, USA. Currently, he is a professor at the CAS Center for Excellence in Animal Evolution and Genetics and serves as the Vice Dean of State Key Laboratory of Genetic Resources and Evolution in China. His research focuses on mammary development and breast cancer stem cells. He has published a series of papers in high profile journals including Cell, PNAS, Nature Communications and Science Advances. Prof. Jiao will introduce his research progress on milk secretion and long non-coding RNA during mammary gland development and also the regulatory mechanism of breast cancer stem cells.
