About the West Lake Friendship Award
"West Lake Friendship Award" is the highest award set up by Zhejiang Provincial Government in recognition of the outstanding contributions made by foreign experts in Zhejiang Province's economic construction, social development, foreign cooperation and exchange, and personnel training. A total of 50 experts were selected.
Prof. Sue Welburn is responsible for providing academic leadership and directing teaching, research and enterprise strategies within ZJE, shaping the future of educational partnership between Edinburgh and Zhejiang and forging new collaborative research opportunities between the Institute and partners.
