Prof. Zhou is an outstanding scientist focusing on novel biomaterial development and the clinical application of biomedical materials. He has carried out in-depth and systematic research on the early diagnosis and precise treatment of major diseases such as malignant tumors and infectious diseases, and has achieved a series of innovative findings. He has published more than 100 papers in high-impact journals such as Nature Communications, Science Advances, and Advanced Materials, including 10 cover papers. The nanodrug developed in his group has been used in clinical trials, which has successfully cured many patients. In 2017 and 2018, Prof. Zhou won the "Top Ten Annual Academic Progress Nomination Award of Zhejiang University". His achievements have been widely reported by the media, such as Xinhua News Agency, People's Network, Guangming Network, Zhejiang Daily, Zhejiang Satellite TV and so on. His invention was considered as one of new technologies recommended in the drug delivery field in the Nature Medicine magazine.
