On 30th August 2023, Zhejiang University-Edinburgh University Institute (ZJE) held the 2023 summer retreat, focusing on the annual key work, planning the development blueprint, promoting the construction of international cooperation education model.
Dean KE Yuehai highlighted the development made by ZJE and drew the blueprint for the future.“Thinking Big, Starting Small, Moving Fast”, he emphasized that ZJE is well prepared for new challenge.
Executive Dean Sue Welburn presented the mid-year work summary. She mentioned in the presentation that ZJE has achieved great on students’ cultivation, faculty recruitment and the scientific research. With the resumption of international connection, she firmly believed that ZJE would enter a phase of full acceleration of development.
The 2023 undergraduate recruitment work was also discussed, and Vice Dean YE Zhiguo chaired the discussion and made a review of student enrollment for 2023 cohort, which has achieved a great breakthrough. He appreciated the great effort from all staff and members who participated in.
