On April 7th, Zhejiang University-University of Edinburgh Institute welcomed Jie Wang, a senior editor from Nature, to present the inaugural session of the Meet the Editor seminar series. She elaborated on theeditorial process and criteria at Nature, enlightening the faculty and students on what kind of research findings Nature looks for. She also shared tips on effective communication with editors and referees, which will play a positive role in the future publication efforts of the faculty and students. During the lively Q&A session on-site, she patiently addressed queries from the audience. The successful hosting of this seminar provided faculty and students with an opportunity to engage with top international journal editors, offering them a clearer understanding of publishing academic papers.
