The Chinese-foreign Joint Education Committee held its 10th meeting and celebrated its 10th anniversary in Shanghai from October 10 to 12, 2024. Hosted by the University of Michigan - Shanghai Jiao Tong University Joint Institute, the meeting welcomed over 400 representatives from 205 Sino-foreign cooperative institutions and programs. The meeting reviewed the significant progress of Sino-foreign cooperative education over the past decade under the guidance of national policies on educational openness, while also looking ahead to the prospects for cooperative education in the "next decade," in line with the spirit of the National Education Conference.
As one of the chair institutions of the Committee, ZJE was invited to attend the meeting. Mr. Ye Zhiguo, Vice Dean of ZJE, received the "Pioneer of Dedication Award" in recognition of his contributions and efforts in the field of Sino-foreign cooperative education over the past ten years.
